Hearty, authentic and ideal for external visits. We have been going there for years.

Kudos to the entire Franciscan team. We have ordered lunch to be picked up. All dishes were very tasty, the Schäufele nice and crispy and all the dishes, above all, nice and hot, despite the 15-minute drive. I can only recommend it.

It was our first time at Franziskaner Würzburg, it was just a great experience. The service was incredibly friendly, very courteous and extremely attentive and helpful. The food was the best we've had in the past year and we have eaten out a lot. The prices were surprisingly low for what we had. In short, it was the best restaurant experience in a long time. My very clear recommendation. My girlfriend had the Schäufle and I had the Hax "n. Both absolutely fantastic, just like the starter, liver dumpling soup and the hot! Apple strudel for dessert. Thanks to the chef! We'll be back for sure.

Sauerbraten was very good. I visited with my children, but the clerk was kind to me. The restaurant next to the hotel was crowded with locals.

The best Schäufle I've ever eaten! The menu offers traditional Franconian cuisine, absolutely fresh. There is a seasonal weekly menu. The staff is very friendly, attentive and having a lot of fun and joy at work. All around a nice atmosphere. We look forward to the next visit! A good meal is simply part of a perfect short weekend!

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, the staff is very nice and the food is very good. So good that we went back to eat there three days after our first visit. Highly recommended.

Very well located. The rooms are small but very well decorated and therefore you feel quite cozy.

Food was mega! Definitely freshly made. Tasty and optically top + mega friendly service. Centrally located, but not on the tourist mile between Residenz and Alter Mainbrücke. I can especially recommend the scoop with sauerkraut and dumpling or the butter-soft boiled fillet.

Wonderful location to explore the city.

We were having dinner as a couple. The food tasted very good, the service was friendly. A perfect end to our first day of vacation. We would come back.

We were guests of the hotel again and did not let it take us to dine in the restaurant again, everything was great, very friendly service (boss) the food is a feast for the palate, (darling), the chef himself prepares a dessert 5 minutes before the kitchen closes. In this inn, the guest is really still the king. We'll be back???

Great Schäufele and good service, but the main room is quite loud due to sound reflection off smooth walls.

Reservation recommended! I wonder why? Apparently several guests know how good the food tastes.

Great fränkish food!

We were eating with seven people today, we were very pleased around. The sauerkraut soup and lemongrass soup were delicious, the vegetables and the rest of the main courses on the spot - perfect. In the cream glasses you could also recognize vanilla and tasted very good. Price performance very good and also the service around class. We can highly recommend the location

Great place. Comfortable beds. Clean room. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Pleasant and accommodating staff. Definitely stay here!
